I'm surprised at how much we have saved. I watch our checking account like a hawk and usually at this time of the month - in-between paychecks and after having paid bills and such - we are pretty tight, but this time we have much more in our account. I think I'd be willing to take it a step farther and say only neccessities for an entire week. I'll have to do it a different week though, because we'll be in Denver...traveling, eating out, etc. But good luck. I'm excited to hear how it goes.
